More Pumpkin Fun

Today the children made a pumpkin project to go along with the rhyme "Five Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate." Here is a link to share with your child that shows the Pete the Cat version of the rhyme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYDNtslzKPI

The children also mixed colors today.  They learned that red and yellow makes orange.  They used their orange paint to finger paint a pumpkin.

Today I assessed the children on their ability to write their name.  We are seeing a great improvement!  When practicing this skill at home please have your child write with their pinchers.  They also need to start their letters at the top.
